The spiritual directors at St. Malo offer the following retreats:
Spiritual Exercises according to the spirituality of the Sodalitium
Christianae Vitae:
The length of this silent retreat is either three days or five days. It is directed
by Father Emilio Garreaud and some of the members of the Sodalitium Community, who manage and are in
residence at St. Malo.
The retreat consists of talks, meditation, conversations, daily participation in the Eucharist, adoration,
and the availability of the sacrament of Reconciliation.
Directed retreat:
This retreat is designed to meet the needs of the individual. You will coordinate the
theme of your retreat with Father Emilio.
Private retreat:
This retreat is for those who are looking for a quiet, prayerful time on your own.
One of our spiritual directors will contact you to get more information on what type of retreat you’re interested in.
Fees/Reservations:
The cost to make an individual retreat is $60 per person per night (plus 4.25% tax if you pay with
a personal check or credit card) and the fee includes
lodging and meals. The cost for spiritual direction is a free will donation.
Our spiritual directors are Jose Ambrozic, director of St. Malo, and Father Emilio Garreaud, chaplain of St. Malo.
Mass is celebrated in our third floor chapel at 7:20 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 5 p.m. on Sunday in the
Chapel on the Rock.
Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. Arrangements would need to be made to arrive earlier or depart
later. Please be aware that there may be other groups on retreat or in a conference during your stay.
