DIRECTED RETREATS:

These retreats are designed to meet the needs of each individual. You will coordinate the theme of your retreat with one of our Spiritual Directors.

Our spiritual directors are Brother Jose Ambrozic, director of St. Malo, and Father Daniel Cardó, chaplain of St. Malo.

FEES/RESERVATIONS:

The cost is $75 per person per night (plus 4.75% tax) and the fee includes lodging and meals. There is no cost associated with spiritual direction or any of the spiritual or proper religious activities. The stated price is for lodging and meals and the use of the St. Malo facilities.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. Arrangements would need to be made to arrive earlier or depart later. Please be aware that there may be other groups on retreat or in a conference during your stay.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISES:

The practice of the Spiritual Exercises has been a long tradition in the Church and there have been different ways to do them. These Spiritual Exercises are developed according to the spirituality of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae.

The length of this silent retreat is ideally ten complete days. Shorter versions are five or three complete days. Therefore, we ask you to plan arriving the night before, and leaving the next morning after finishing your retreat. It is directed by the members of the Sodalitium Community, who manage and are in residence at St. Malo.

The retreat consists of talks, meditation, mental prayer, conversations, daily participation in the Eucharist, Adoration, and the availability of the sacrament of Reconciliation. You will coordinate how often is appropriate to meet with the Spiritual Director who will guide you through the retreat.
